Great kit buddy.I would add a disposable life straw and another means to
    carry water.

    a few different places.

I would add a couple of large heavy-duty contractor cleanup bags…incredibly
useful and versatile. Can be used for; rain poncho, sleeping bag, shelter
building, solar still, water collection, carrying other gathered
    supplies…and more!

Good call on the saw, those are far better than the crappy wire saws. I
think the knife you have is a Mora, not the best but great for the price.
BTW, you can build your own penny alcohol stove or get a can of sterno for
a lot less than the 6 bucks you paid for yours. Just my opinion, but good
    bag by the way.

Thanks for this video. Morakniv is Pronounced Moore-ah Knive. You had an
excellent kit my friend! Only thing I would recommend would be to have a
road flare or something like that, and you definitely need a nesting cup
to put in the bottom of you SS water bottle so you can cook that rice
easier. It would also give you something to use that stove for besides
boiling water… Good kit though, and I have seen that Fieldline tactical
bag at walmart, but never knew if it was good. I Subbed, and can’t wait for
    your next video!!!

Just goes to show you don’t have to spend a fortune to be ready. Mora
knives are great, and cheap. Buy them all. Chunk a couple gallon zip lock
freezer bags, some foil, a coupe coffee filters, a brightly colored
bandana and a heavier knife in the bag too bro. Check out the Schrade
SCHF10. Good blade for Cheap. Good luck.

Good vid man. I’ve known a couple people that had them cheap ass fieldline
bags and they’re garbage. Look up CH Kadels. They got the condor compact
scout assault pack for under $40. It’d be way better for same amount of
cash. It’s what I use as my edc/get home bag. Lots of room and
compartments. Mora also had the “fire knife” which is a Mora with a Ferro
rod in the handle. Gives you the knife and an extra way to start a fire.
    Subbed. Take care man.

Very nice kit. I think along the same lines as you do about blending in,
and I carry a lot of the same gear that you showed here. I’m in an urban
area of So. Cal. So I carry more tools, like a small crow bar, and a small
pair of bolt cutters in case I need to gain access to a building along the
way home. I also carry a 4-way key to turn on water spigots on commercial
buildings. Every bag needs to be customized to the user’s specific area,
needs, and beliefs. Just my 2 cents. I subbed your channel. Keep up the
    good work. Peace.

Nice kit bro. I would recommend a fire steel, blastmatch, or weatherproof
matches to add some redundancy for making fire. Also, a few communication
devices in case you need to be rescued, like a whistle, radio, orange
signal canopy, flare(s), etc. Lastly, a good bandana or shemagh. Thousands
of different uses for those, including using as a prefilter for water so
you don’t mess up your mask. Good job man. Keep it up.

Great entire package overall. Those Mora knives are beautiful and I have a
couple as well. For $15 who can say no? You may want to get rid of that
rubbing alcohol though since that is horrible fuel for an alcohol stove.
It’s also incredibly inefficient compared to denatured alcohol which is
the preferred fuel for those stoves. I just have a few Esbit cubes in my
    bag though.

That looks very much like the contents of my Get Home Bag. I don’t have
the sewing kit or tooth brush, since I intend to be home in less than 24
hrs. But I’ll have to think about them…

You might want to include boots for the trek home, if you wear lighter
shoes when at work or in town.

You don’t have first aid kit or a tent or sleeping bag or water or better
food. A compass in case power goes out. Extra clothes.
You need big bag. I do. You don ‘t know how long take get home.
    You maybe walk.
